1. Preparation before the test
The mineral processing test requires the customer to provide a representative sample of about 50kg, and some special mineral samples require about 200-1000kg. In terms of test time, a simple and easy mineral processing test takes about 30 working days, and a detailed mineral processing test takes about half a year.
Before the mineral processing test, a test contract must be signed with the customer to determine which mineral processing technology to test.
2. Test process
1. First, the material composition (ore structure, ore minerals, ore type) and chemical properties (multiple elements of the ore, ore particle size screening, ore density, relative grindability of the ore) of the original ore are measured to obtain a series of relevant data to provide a basis for subsequent mineral processing tests.
2. After the laboratory work is completed, the mineral processing research laboratory will conduct mineral processing tests. The mineral processing test mainly tests the mineral processing conditions of the mineral processing process. First, the test personnel conduct exploratory tests based on experience. After determining that a certain method is more effective, they will conduct detailed tests on it through mineral processing test equipment. The detailed test mainly tests the beneficiation conditions of valuable minerals in the minerals, including grinding fineness, reagent dosage, open circuit and closed circuit tests, etc. After obtaining the products (concentrates and tailings), they are analyzed to obtain the recovery rate. After that, the sedimentation test of concentrates and tailings is also carried out to provide a reference for equipment selection.
3. Test results
After all the test work is completed, the test process is summarized and a detailed "Ore Dressing Test Report" is given. In the "Ore Dressing Test Report", the beneficiation process and process parameters will be given.
The "Ore Dressing Test Report" is an important basis for the next step of mine design, and it also plays an important role in guiding actual production.
